West Wimbledon Primary School donate laptops to Bahrabise School for deaf children in Nepal

Bahrabise laptops

Pupils at the Bahrabise School for deaf children in Nepal using some of the laptop computers kindly donated by West Wimbledon Primary School and Base for Autism, following a PPUK initiative. The Bahrabise school was built and is operated by our associated charity Community Action Nepal, using donated funds. Unfortunately in Nepal there is sometimes a social stigma attached to disability, and the State provision for care and support is quite limited. The opportunity for the deaf children to learn computer skills and to be able to communicate with the outside world via the internet is invaluable, and we would add our sincere appreciation to West Wimbledon Primary School for their generosity.
