Summiting for PPUK and the Children of Nepal

After 7 days on Kilimanjaro’s Machame route we are pleased to report that PPUK supporter Dina Stylianou reached the summit on 18th October at 7.35am.  Huge thanks to her family, friends and all at PPUK for their support, encouragement and sponsorship.

Dina has been raising funds to build temporary school shelters in Nepal, at a time when Nepal continues to need our help and support. After the Earthquakes earlier this year it is estimated that approximately 32,145 classrooms were destroyed in the Earthquakes and almost one million children currently without schools.

Dina told us: ‘Big thanks to Jamie and Sam of Exped Adventure who got me to the top safely and who continue to be very skilled at persuading me to step outside my comfort zone.  This wasn’t just my success but the success of everyone involved’.

Great job Dina, and many thanks from all at PPUK
